Woolf Aircraft Products purchased a new Eagle 150 CNC machine Number 9769 double stack tube bender. This bender is capable of bending tubes up to 6" in diameter that have more than one radius. This is one of the largest CNC Benders in the country.

Woolf Aircraft Products has contracted with Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. to approve our quality and manufacturing systems to AS 9100B:2004. We are expecting completion in Spring 2008.

Woolf Aircraft received its remanufactured Eagle 100 CNC double stack tube bender. This bender is capable of bending tubes up to 4" in diameter that have more than one radius. This machine has allowed increased capacity for CNC Bending.

Woolf Aircraft completed addition May 11, 2006
Woolf Aircraft completed our 42,000 sq.ft. addition. We now can begin moving our equipment and positioning it in a manner that will allow us to operate more easily and efficiently, as well as increase our equipment capacity. This process also involved moving over 29,000 cubic yards of dirt, and the creation of 3 acres of retention pond.

Our additional space has given us the opportunity to not only expand our structure but our resources as well. Woolf Aircraft purchased two additional Pines number 4 benders, one right hand and one left hand, capable of bending up to 6” diameter tubing bringing our total of Pines number 4 benders to 5 machines.

During this month, we also purchased two additional CNC Mills, bringing the total of CNC Mills to 3 machines.

This day was no trick and all treat for Woolf Aircraft as we began the extensive process of creating a larger facility to better serve our customers. With everyone present, Dan Woolf continued his family’s legacy by driving the shovel into the dirt and breaking ground in preparation for our 42,000 sq.ft. addition.

Today Woolf Aircraft Products received its certificate of registration for ISO 9001: 2000 from Perry Johnson Registrars Inc. We have been working for five years to achieve this status. We thank the many people that have been involved to make this a success for us.

Woolf Aircraft received the Ergonomic Innovation Award from the State of Michigan, Department of Consumer & Industry Services. They informed us that very few of these awards have been presented. We have received many complements on our improvements and award. Safety magazines have interviewed us and it is being published as far away as Australia. Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services Presents Ergonomic Innovation Award to Woolf Aircraft Products of Romulus
Company Realizes up to 400 Percent Productivity Gains with Ergonomic Changes (LANSING) -- Director Kathleen M. Wilbur announced the Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services presented the Ergonomic Innovation Award to Woolf Aircraft Products, Inc. today.
The Ergonomic Innovation Award is issued to employers by the CIS Bureau of Safety and Regulation's (13SR) Consultation Education & Training (CET) Division for innovative ideas, which have been implemented to reduce worker strain. "This award is a reflection, first and foremost, of Woolf Aircraft's commitment to the health and safety of our employees," said President Dan Woolf. "By working smarter we are able not only to reduce injuries-but increase productivity, improve product quality, and meet rigid delivery schedules in a very competitive global market."

Woolf Aircraft Products has been working on certification to ISO-9002. Today auditors from Perry Johnson Inc. completed their three-day assessment audit of Woolf Aircraft and informed us that they would be recommending us for certification. We are expecting this certification about July 2001.
